The Foreclosure Fish
June 19th, 2008 7:51 AM

With the mortgage mess, many homes with pools are going into foreclosure. The homes are perfect breeding grounds for mosquitos. This causes worries about the West Nile Virus infections. Here in California, authorities are using airplanes to find green pools and are filling them with the Gambusia affinis, or mosquito fish, which eats the larvae.

These fish have been nicknamed the Foreclosure Fish.

Here is a video from Wall Street Journal:

Barnyard: The Original Party Animals
June 6th, 2008 7:39 AM

The Promenade Shops at Dos Lagos in Corona are hosting Family Movie Nights under the stars. Movies start at 7:00pm till 10:00pm. This is a FREE event!

This next Thursday, June 12th they will present Barnyard: The Original Party Animals.

What really happens on the farm when the farmer isn't looking? In this computer-generated animation feature, the farm animals can do everything humans do. They talk, walk upright, buy human contraband from a "gray market" run by the gophers, and even turn the barn into a nightclub. Of course, they do all of this in secret. The biggest party animal is Otis (voiced by Kevin James), a happy-go-lucky cow. This coming-of-age tale is bolstered by the human antics of the animals and genuine laugh-out-loud moments for all ages

Be sure to bring your lawn chairs and blankets.

Located at: 2780 Cabot Drive, Corona CA

For more information please contact The Promenade Shops at Dos Lagos Management Office at 951-277-7601
